We are both Canadian boys with international roots. Carlos (right) being of Colombian-descent and Diogo (left) having been born in Portugal.

We arrived in Calgary nine years ago both pursuing new professional opportunities in the aviation sector. We immediately fell in love with the city and the scenic outdoor playground in our backyard .....enticing us into calling Calgary "home" very quickly! 

The 2020 global pandemic impacted both of our careers, allowing us the time to pursue a passion of ours while slowly perfecting Diogo's grandma's  recipe for a favourite pastry that reminds us of roaming the cobblestone streets of Lisbon, at first bite.  

We enjoy cooking and baking when hosting for friends and family, always combining our cultural (Portuguese and Colombian) culinary heritages into what we do.  Now we want to share the goodness of these treats with you Calgary!
